Why do I need to complete any identity check?

In line with Australian telecommunications regulations, all mobile services must complete an identity verification before activation

As part of this process, we attempt to confirm your identity electronically using official government records. This check is completed using one of the following forms of Australian identification:

  • Driver's license
  • Passport

If your activation order has been placed on hold, it means we were unable to successfully verify your details during this electronic check. This usually happens when the information entered doesnt exactly match the records held in the government database for the ID you provided

Once the correct details are confirmed, your activation can proceed.
