Your first bill will show the following line items, and while it might look a bit busy, its all standard. Heres what each item means:

  1. Shared Number plan fee: This is the regular $10 monthly charge for the plan.
  2. Pro rata credit: A credit for the days you didnt use the plan in your first month. For example, if you signed up on the 20th, youll get a credit for the unused days from the 1st to the 19th.
  3. Advance charge for next month: Another $10, billed upfront for your second month.

Example:
Daily rate credit: $0.33 (which is $10 divided by 30 days)
Activation date: 15th of the month
Unused days: 14 days (1st–14th)
Pro rata credit: 14 × $0.33 = $4.62

So, your first bill would include:

Shared Number plan fee: - $10
Pro rata credit: + $4.62
Shared Number plan fee for 1 month in advance: - $10
Total: $15.38

From Month Two Onward
Your bill will settle down to just $10/month, with no extra line items.
