These terms refer to how your home is connected to the nbn® network:

  • - FTTP (Fibre to the Premises): A fibre-optic cable connects directly to your home and is the fastest and most reliable option.
  • - FTTC (Fibre to the Curb): Fibre runs close to your home (from a pit on the street), with a short copper connection used to complete the link to your premises.
  • - FTTN (Fibre to the Node): Fibre runs to a nearby node in your local area, with the existing copper network completing the connection to your premises.
