What charges will appear on my first bill for my nbn® service?

Your first NBN bill will typically include:
- Your first full monthly plan fee (billed in advance).
- Any upfront payment made at checkout, such as your first months plan fee or hardware costs.
- Modem or hardware charges if you purchased equipment with your service.
- Applicable discounts or promotional credits (e.g., Tangerine offers).
- One-off fees, such as a new development charge, if applicable.
⚠️Note on Plan Changes:
If you change your NBN plan mid-cycle,you will not be charged a pro-rata amount for the old plan. Instead, you will be charged apro-rata amount for the new planfrom the date the change takes effect.
To avoid additional charges, its recommended to change your plan at the beginning of a new billing cycle.
Example:
If your NBN service is activated on the 10th and your billing cycle starts on the 1st, your first bill will include:
- Your full monthly plan fee in advance.
- Any applicable hardware or setup charges
- No partial month charge unless a plan change occurs mid-cycle.
