There is no outage in my area but my internet service isn’t working, what should I do?

If theres no reported outage and your service isnt working, try the steps below.

Restart your Wi-Fi router

A power cycle resolves most connectivity issues.

  1. Unplug the power cable from the Wi-Fi router.
  2. Confirm all indicator lights are off.
  3. Wait 1 full minute.
  4. Plug the power cable back in.
  5. Wait for the power, internet, and connection lights to turn solid.
  6. Test your connection using a device connected to Wi Fi.

Check your Wi-Fi router setup
Make sure the Wi-Fi router is set up correctly for your connection type.
