How to check if your phone eSIM compatible

Most major mobile phone and tablet device manufacturers now support eSIM, but not all models (especially older models pre 2020) are eSIM compatible. The simplest way to check is to dial*#06# on your phone. If an EID number appears (thats 32 digits long), your device is likely eSIM‑compatible

Keep in mind this method isnt always definite. Some devices purchased overseas or with region‑specific software, may display an EID but dont support eSIM functionality in Australia

You can check your device manufacturer's website to confirm if your device is eSIM enabled
