How do I scan my eSIM QR code?

From a mobile device
You can install your eSIM using a mobile device in a few different ways:

Supported devices only:

  • Take a screenshot of the QR code. Open your photo gallery and tap on the image to start the installation.

Using a single device:

  • Take a screenshot of the QR code, then download a QR code scanning app from your app store. Open the screenshot in the app and tap the code to begin setup.

Works all devices:

  • Use two devices. Open the email containing the QR code on one device (such as another phone or a tablet), then use the camera on the device you want to install the eSIM on to scan the code. Make sure you're installing the eSIM on the correct device.

After the eSIM profile has downloaded, your device will walk you through the remaining steps. Once installation is complete, your service will activate automatically

What to do if youre unable to scan your eSIM QR code

If the QR code wont scan, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Make sure you're in a bright, well-lit room
  2. Display the QR code on a larger screen, such as a computer or tablet
  3. Check that your camera lens is clean and free from any damage
  4. See if your device allows you to manually enter an activation code instead
  5. Try using a third-party QR code scanning app
